“Get Out Front!” – the rockin’ title track of the album sums up the goal of the band which began six years ago as a way for friends with various challenges to thrive by playing music together. Led by Brandon Rummel and facilitated by music mentor Phil Montfort, The Eddie Ray Band has evolved into a large rotating supergroup that has earned a reputation in the community as one of love and acceptance. With the support of their fans, MMMF, The Stimpunks Foundation, The Firefly Fund, and Jesse James, the band was able to go into The Zone Recording Studio in Dripping Springs to cut original songs featuring each member. Songs like the Beatlesque “Love Is Everything” and “Family Circle” really give audiences a glimpse into the bonds that have formed as a result of the band’s open-door policy to join in, express and create, no matter the ability. And then there is the mysterious “Eddie From Waco” tune that showcases the fun the band has with writing a Country & Western fable. Sales from the release will ensure the band’s future and sustainability. Albums and CDs will be available for purchase at the release show and on the band’s website Eddie Ray Band as well as streaming on all digital platforms.
