What began as a side project transformed into a search for a smooth and unique sound that floats the space between bedroom pop, jazz, and R&B. Based in Austin, Texas, The Magnolia Kids are four musicians inspired to push the limits of style by blending their roots in classical, jazz, soul, and folk music. 

The band features the stylings of Camille Schiess (violin), Dana Marie (bass), Micah Motenko (keyboards), and Tony Mariano (guitar), each contributing an extensive background performing with various groups in Austin. Together, they arrange sonic vignettes that showcase each musician under a blanket of seductively textured harmony and groove. The Magnolia Kids capture the playfulness of creating music with one another, presenting a funky, fresh, and spacey experience that never strays too far from something beautiful.

Buenos Diaz is an exciting blend of blues, indie, alt pop, and rock, born from the extensive travels and self-guided musical education of frontman, Nick Diaz. Their sound, mixing influences from vast and varied artists from Gustav0 Cerati to Led Zeppelin, propelled them on tour around key U.S. music hotspots. The band’s discography is rich and diverse, with songs like "Half Full" and "Through The Clouds" earning rights for ad placements with Nike, Amazon, and PNC Bank. Notable recognition includes an impressive 300K+ Spotify streams and multiple placements on SXSW's Showcasing Artists list from 2018 through 2023. The band has been praised for its "swaggering garage rock" by Austin Chronicle and applauded for its "lo-fi alt-pop" excellence by The Static Dive, marking Buenos Diaz as an authentic and noteworthy presence in the music landscape.
