Soul Studio Owner and Artist: Carol Hargus will lead you through a comprehensive and beginner friendly Natural Dye Workshop.
Create an heirloom raw silk scarf/bandana using Eco Printing Techniques with flowers and natural extracts made from roots, barks, woods, and rusty metal objects!

Eco Printing (the technique for this workshop) is a way to create abstract, kaleidoscopic and even imprinted designs using a variety of natural materials to steam imprints/designs into fabric.
Location: Central Machine Works *
(big parking lot w/ free parking in back of building)
Timeframes (2 options): 12-1pm or 1-2pm
Children ages 12+ are welcome with adult supervision
Please dress in attire you would not mind *possibly* staining

*Please note that you will have to return to Central Machine Works the following week to pick up your pieces after they have steamed and cured. Alternatively we can ship your finished work for an extra $5 (paid day of)
*MicroMarkets will be hosting a Makers Market during the workshop, feel free to enjoy a beer and a bite while you work/shop
