Nine Banded Whiskey, named after one of Texas’ official state symbols, the nine banded armadillo, will be showcasing their two new products - a Straight Bourbon, and a Wheated Bourbon - both 90 proof straight bourbon whiskeys blended and bottled right here in Austin. 

Nine Banded Whiskey was founded by a group of Austin misfits standing around a kitchen table one night in South Austin. They asked themselves that night...Why isn't there a local whiskey that keeps up with Austin's lifestyle? A great tasting, great value whiskey that's focused on the customer and not solely on the whiskey maker himself/herself? A whiskey that promotes everything amazing about our modern city while honoring this city's history? 

They set out to make a whiskey that’s as good as it gets without any pretense. A whiskey that tastes like nothing other than damn good whiskey. They're made in Austin, Texas. They're made from Austin, Texas. They distill the heart that flows freely in this town right into their whiskey. They add limestone filtered water, sourced directly from an ancient spring in the Texas Hill Country. It’s smooth. It’s real. It doesn’t taste like anything else because it can’t be made anywhere else. They don’t care how you drink it, they just care that you enjoy it.
