Join Panoramic Voices, Density512, and ATX Classical Jam for an afternoon of no-consequences music-making! We'll run two caroling sessions—one focused on casually singing/playing through well-known carols (music/lyrics available on site, including transposed parts for instruments, or sing along on your own!), and one with a focus on sight-reading through well-loved arrangements of classical Christmas repertoire (bring your iPad; we'll air drop you the music! Or feel free to improvise...).
This is NOT a performance, but rather a community sing/play along opportunity! Join Panoramic Voices (Austin's inclusive community choir) and ATX Classical Jam (a regular jam session for gigging classical musicians in ATX) for some fun, casual musicking, all supported by professional instrumentalists from local chamber ensemble, Density512. No rehearsals, no consequences!
FOOD & DRINKS:
The venue is a functional brewery, bar, and restaurant (kids and well behaved dogs are welcome) with an exceptional, modern space. Food and drink menus are available here.
ARTISAN CRAFT MARKET:
We'll even help you get your Christmas shopping done early, with an artisan craft market open from 11-3, available on site! The artisan craft market will feature about 8-10 professional vendors selling pottery, jewelry, art and more!
UGLY SWEATERS:
Additionally, we'll be judging Ugly Christmas Sweaters—and even showing them off in our Ugly Sweater Parade—with help from our friends at KMFA Classical 89.5! Wear your festive garb, and compete for fun prizes!
